1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 red onion, cut into chunks

810 wooden or metal skewers (wood best soaked before use)

For the Marinade

1/4 cup honey

3 tbsp sriracha

2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, grated

1/2 tsp black pepper

For Garnish

Sesame seeds

Chopped cilantro

Lime wedges

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.

Step 2: Marinate the Protein

Add your chicken, shrimp, or tofu to the marinade, ensuring everything is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for extra flavor).

Step 3: Assemble the Skewers

Thread the marinated protein onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers and onion for a colorful presentation.

Step 4: Grill to Perfection

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
